What Have You Been Up To?

I...am probably the most laziest/socially unproductive person ever. Well, I was anyway... This year started off with a...weird BANG! Weird because I've been through more hell at the beginning of this year than I have in my entire life...but from the midst of tragedy, there's a tiny bit of beauty. After almost two years of just researching styles and enjoying taking a gander at everyone and their brother's design/animation work, I've finally started drawing again. YUP! Me. A Pencil. A Piece of Paper. We make sweet bread with our bestie, Illustrator.



The Wasp--one of my favorites from The Marvel Universe. This is my first attempt at fanart. She does look sad because I was super sad when they killed her off. I'm still slightly miffed that they've yet to inform anyone of a return of some sort. A girl can always dream, right?



Natural. I would like to turn this in to a series pretty soon. I've always been fascinated with natural hair and how versatile it really is. The styles that I've been seeing lately are INSANELY awesome and represent a beautiful pride that was lost so long ago. So yes, a natural series just might be in the works! <3 #teamnatural So, what's next? Well, aside from working on my Motion Graphics projects (woe is me), I'm actually looking in to long-ago comic/toy heroes. Olmec Toys was a favorite of mine back in my Barbie days and now I'm itching to illustrate a few pieces in ode to the long-defunct toy-line. Sun-Man will be first. :) Yay for me blogging!
